September 2023, Vol XXIX, No. 1

Welcome to a brand new year of PAX Pressthe newspaper for exchange students, host families, and schools since 1995. We've checked in with the PAX community. They've shared their stories and photos. And now, we have it all for you in our first issue of the 2023/24 program year.

No student captures the initial excitement of this time of year better than Ruxanda. Taking you along for her arrival and first day of school, the Moldovan's enthusiasm and determination to become a true ambassador are plain as day in her humorous and well-written piece.

If you like that one, you're sure to also enjoy Anahit's (Armenia) early reflections...and those of all the other students featured in the September issue to be honest.

Once you've had your share of student stories, be sure to also get the host parent perspective. As ever, you can find those in our On the Home Front section—the two we've got for you this month are particularly entertaining.

Thanks to all those who submitted such inspired pieces, and remember that paxpress@pax.org is always collecting stories, anecdotes, photos, videos, and more!
