YES program participant jumps in the air during a Better Understanding for a Better World conference in Baltimore
Cakra grabs some air by the Baltimore Harbor during a break from the Better Understanding for a Better World (BUBW) conference.

Cakra's long list of achievements

In addition to being selected for the Better Understanding for a Better World (BUBW) conference based on his virtual exchange project, Cakra also won the YES 15th anniversary logo design competition, was named March Student of the Month at school, racked up 146 volunteer hours, and earned all A’s. His activities this year included math competitions, BETA club, archery club, the Fall Activities Organization for Children, and soccer.

His community coordinator Joyce Massey calls him "an overall outstanding young man and exchange student" and notes that on the exchange student cluster's enahncement trips, he is a respected leader.

Way to go, Cakra!
