One Unforgettable Season
Football-playing Mexican exchange student with host dad after game in Illinois

Mexican kicks hornets to states in Illinois

Our exchange son Eduardo played on the Nashville Hornet football team as the kicker, a high-pressure job he proved himself up for. In fact, he made the game-winning 23-yard field goal with 3.9 seconds left that sent the Hornets to the state championship!

After thanking his coaches and noting it was his first championship game of any kind, Eduardo recalled, "It was a beautiful moment and the most important kick of my life."

While they ended up falling a bit short in the championship game, we are so proud of Eduardo and all the Nashville Hornets! What an incredible season!
