Fighting Stereotypes

A "-Stan" is not a "-Stan" is not a "-Stan"

I came up with the idea of fighting against stereotypes, because I am faced with it myself. During the time I spent in America, I realized how important sharing can be. I made a lot of friends by telling people about my country and culture. I fought against stereotypes, and I am happy that now Americans know more about Kazakhstan. At the same time, I know that a lot of people in Kazakhstan have stereotypes about America. That is why I decided to give my American friends a chance to explain some things. Because I had this chance and they should, too!

I posted the video on my YouTube channel, because I wanted to make the video public in order to spread this great idea of sharing cultures and getting to know each other. On my YouTube channel, I post videos about my experience and teach people about American culture aiming for one result—better understanding.
