Warm Break for Winter-Weary Minnesotans
Carolina connects with fam in FL
This spring break, we went to Florida for a change of weather. We did a bunch of fun stuff, much different than what we are used to here in Minnesota where we will have snow until May. We walked on the beach barefoot, had karaoke birthday nights, and walked to the restaurant to get ice cream. We changed from doing snow sculptures to sand sculptures. We liked it a lot, and it was a perfect break from the snow. We connected even more as a family.

After break, I hung out with friends and went to the movie theater, prom dress shopping, and out to dinner. We had world culture club week where I shared all about my country with my high school.
This season is busy, as I keep up with my grades and start playing softball for the first time. Fun times are to come in April. I’m going to a professional basketball game with my parents, maybe to Chicago, and to a Justin Bieber concert. I’m excited about these last two months. The best is yet to come!
